Do ambercrombie kids clothes run small?

i'm 5'7 105 pounds i can fit a l and lx do you think i could also fit a medium ? but the l and lx are loose on the side. like they arent fitted properly are they supposed to fit loose.i'm really slim and around 5'6- 5'7
