White Smoke coming from the exhaust pipe during start up. Honda Civic LX 99?

White smoke coming from the exhaust pipe during start up and I smell something burning. Now I've had the head gasket, water pump and radiator replaced. The car also shakes a lot and I can hear a loud screeching sound when trying to start up. It doesn't seem like I'm losing any coolant either. Had the head gasket replaced 2 days ago and the guy told me he took the top part of the engine to be rebuilt and cleaned as well. Obviously something is still wrong, anyone can think of any other solutions? Thanks in advance!
