What do you think of the name Declan?

When I first heard it, I did not like it at all. Then it grew on me a bit, and now I absolutley love it. I think it sounds handsome, and I love that it is one of the few male Irish names that doesn't seem to have become hella-popular in the US and Canada (unlike nice but overused Irish names; Aiden, Liam, Ryan, Kieran, etc.). My mom hated it as first too, but now she loves it as well! Any thoughts?
